1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of hharconsulting.com, operated by HHAR Consulting LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Financial Disclaimer, both of which form part of this agreement.

2. Who may use the site

You must be at least 16 years old to use this site or submit anything through it. By using it, you confirm that you are.

3. What you may and may not do

You are welcome to read, share links to, and personally use the material on this site.

You may not:

• Republish our written content, book extracts, or calculators commercially, or present them as your own work.
• Use the site or its forms to send unlawful, abusive, deceptive or harassing material.
• Submit another person's personal information without their permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its forms, or any connected system.
• Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or repeatedly submit to the site's forms.
• Use our content to train a machine learning model without our written permission.

4. Our content

All content on this site — text, articles, branding, calculators, images and layout — belongs to HHAR Consulting LLC or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The names HHAR Consulting, Amy Invest, and The Amy Invest Edu Blog, and the tagline Wealth · Freedom · Growth, are ours.

You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back. Anything more needs our permission, which we are usually happy to give if you ask.

5. What you send us

When you submit a question or message through this site:

• You confirm it is your own, and that you are entitled to send it.
• You give us permission to read it, store it, and use it to prepare a reply to you.
• You agree not to send confidential, sensitive or identifying information — including identification numbers, account or card numbers, passwords, or health information. We do not need them.

If we ever want to use an anonymised version of a question as an example in a blog post or newsletter, we will remove anything that could identify you.

We are under no obligation to reply to any particular submission, and we may decline questions that fall outside financial education or that ask for personal advice we are not licensed to give.

6. Third-party services

Some parts of the site rely on or link to services we do not control, including Stan.store for booking calls, Kit for email, and Amazon for book purchases. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Purchases made through them are contracts between you and that provider.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including the question form, at any time and without notice.

8. No warranties

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HHAR Consulting LLC and Aminat Lawal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published on it.

This includes any financial loss resulting from decisions you make after reading our content. As set out in our Financial Disclaimer, we provide education and not advice, and investment decisions remain yours.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify HHAR Consulting LLC against any claim arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of anyone else's rights.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Illinois will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
